Terms of Service

Welcome to Local Draw. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Local Draw website and services (“Local Draw”, “we”, “us”). By using Local Draw — as a host, as a venue, or as a visitor — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What Local Draw is

Local Draw is a directory and introduction service. It helps independent trivia, bingo, karaoke, and game-night hosts list themselves, and helps pubs and venues find and contact them. That's all it does.

We are not a party to any booking or agreement between a host and a venue. We don't employ hosts, we don't arrange or guarantee events, and we take no booking fee or commission. Any terms, payment, and arrangements are strictly between the host and the venue. We don't vet, endorse, or background-check hosts beyond light content moderation, and we make no promise that any host is suitable, available, qualified, or safe. Use your own judgment.

2. Who can use Local Draw

You must be at least 18 years old to create a profile, contact a host, or leave a review. By using the service you confirm that you are.

3. Host accounts and content

Hosts sign in with a one-time link sent to their email — keep access to that email secure, since anyone with it can access your profile. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

If you list yourself as a host, you agree that:

• the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date;
• you own or have the rights to every photo and video you add, and you grant Local Draw a non-exclusive licence to display them on your profile and in the directory;
• your content is not illegal, infringing, misleading, or offensive; and
• you'll handle enquiries and any resulting events professionally and lawfully.

We may edit, hide, or remove any profile or content, and approve profiles before they appear publicly, at our discretion.

4. Contacting hosts and general conduct

When you contact a host, do so in good faith about a genuine event. Don't use Local Draw to send spam, harass anyone, scrape or harvest data, misrepresent yourself, or interfere with the service. We may block or remove anyone who does.

5. Reviews

Reviews can only be left by a venue that contacted a host through Local Draw, and only via the single-use link we send. Reviews must be honest and based on a real experience. We review submissions before publishing and may decline or remove any review — for example if it is fake, abusive, or off-topic.

6. Third-party content

Profiles may embed videos from YouTube or Vimeo and link to external sites. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we're not responsible for their content.

7. Service “as is”

Local Draw is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any host or venue will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Local Draw will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any dispute, loss, or harm arising out of an interaction, agreement, or event between a host and a venue. Local Draw simply introduces people; what happens next is between them.

9. Changes and termination

We may suspend or remove accounts or content, and we may change or discontinue parts of the service, at any time. We may also update these Terms; if we make a material change we'll take reasonable steps to note it, and continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Local Draw is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
